Saturday, March 4 from 1 to 5 p.m. Learn how to make handmade paper! You’ll pull 10 to 15 sheets of paper, and learn the history and chemistry of papermaking. We’ll be making a paper using a mixture of cotton and local banana tree fibers. $75 per person

Printing on the Equinox

Free and open to the public! Come try out letterpress printing as we celebrate the beginning of Autumn and a day of equal day and night. We’ll be printing a variety choose-your-own printing plates, featuring images and texts to mark the season of change and harvest, with hopes for balance in the world. September 22, 6 to 8 p.m.

January 4 to March 5, 2016 See the latest results of The Broad Side: a letterpress printing portfolio showcasing (mostly) women-identified writers and letterpress printers from New Orleans. Included are the printed designs of Jessica Peterson, Laura Thomson, Brigid Conroy, and Amelia Bird and the words of Jessica Kinnison, Candice Wuehle and Andy Young.
