Personalized letterpress workshop

Letterpress printing a group is a fantastic and fun way to stimulate creativity and communication. In this group workshop, participants will work together to create a letterpress-printed notecard, poster or postcard design. Through guided brainstorming exercises, the group will choose a phrase or slogan to print, then select the typeface, paper type and ink color. Typesetting and press usage will be demonstrated and practiced. Each participant prints at least copies of the group design. This workshop is a great way to explore collective brainstorming and creativity, while learning about the history of printing, typography and practicing letterpress printing.
