The Southern in St. Pete!

The Southern Letterpress is now in St. Petersburg, FL!

We loaded up the C&P onto Fancy White, picked up a 5’x8′ trailer and filled it to the brim with studio goodies to prepare for the long drive from 7 Ton Letterpress Collective in Asheville, NC to The Southern’s St. Pete, FL location.

It was a bittersweet goodbye… who would want to leave these ladies?

They didn’t make it easy…

… but they did make The Southern, St. Pete, a permanent member of the 7 Ton Letterpress Collective – 7 Ton SUPER SOUTH! Thanks, ladies. I miss you already.

Good thing there’s plenty to do here in St. Pete to lift my spirits. First on the list? Unload the C&P and start restoring her to her former glory so the printing can commence in beautiful St. Pete!
