We have all the gifts you need this holiday season, all handcrafted with love and imagination.

The Southern Letterpress and the Desert Island Supply Co. work together under one roof in the Woodlawn neighborhood of Birmingham, Ala.
Together, we create products for use on an imaginary desert island. We sell these supplies and products from our storefront, to support the educational efforts of the Desert Island Supply Co., which offers outstanding  and affordable creative writing workshops to area youth. We also offer an amazing selection of really awesome books (for example, have you seen The Book With No Pictures?) and an array of fantastic handprinted letterpress cards and broadsides from The Southern Letterpress.
